Good quality antique copy of 17th century pikeman's back and breast plates with removable tassets. Armor is very heavy.

The piece is copied from examples of early 17th century armor. Later on, pikemen abandoned first the tassets and then the armor all together, instead opting for a lighter more maneuverable form of protection.
