The 1912 Pattern Cavalry Officer's Sword was the last service sword issued to the cavalry of the British Army.

It is widely considered the most effective cavalry sword ever designed. The only criticism was that the sword would often penetrate so deep that it was difficult for cavalrymen to draw clear.
